Live! The holy battle is finally over! The Church of the Old Gods has been demolished, and hundreds of people have been killed! Your oppressors have been vanquished! Not all of the news is good, though. You need to find Peter of Heavenly Tyrant because he fled from your clutches.
The path takes you through intricately detailed landscapes made from hundreds of different Renaissance artworks. Boating, feeding donkeys, participating in talent competitions, helping amateur street magicians, singing, dancing, and (magic?) I’ll be speaking with our Lord God, finding riches, playing the flute, and touching people’s faces. Can you, Lord, locate Peter in heaven? And if you do that, how will you seek revenge?
Gameplay Features:
- Nonsense: A type of humor that is similar to Monty Python’s weird, anarchic comedy. Noble topics are presented
- with a revitalizing youth. People take butt jokes quite seriously. The puzzle, however, makes perfect sense, even though certain jokes can be absurd. (Or at least maintain a logical internal consistency)
- Amazingly meaningful moments—no, don’t read too much, actually.
- Rembrandt, Botticelli, Michelangelo, and other Renaissance artists’ paintings are incorporated into one cohesive environment in a style that is as true to the original as is possible.
- You will have a sword available for optional killing. This will be helpful in a variety of circumstances, but I highly advise against using it for humans. It will be possible to skip a puzzle you don’t like by disobeying my instruction and killing anybody in your path. But take care. You might pay for your deeds later on.
- Standalone Story: The Procession to Calvary is a standalone story that takes place in the same universe as Four Last Things.
- A soundtrack that was chosen to complement the piece’s style is classical music. The journey is accompanied by music by classical musicians like Vivaldi, Bach, and George Frideric Handel.
- A typical point-and-click interface with an interactive verb coin menu and a straightforward inventory to drag and place valuable things is available.
